The PPR Estates Team
The leadership team for PPR Estates are:
Jonathan Caplan, Director
Jon oversees all aspects of PPR Estates' business. Specifically, Jon leads the property acquisition and underwriting, negotiating commercial loan agreements, legal contracts, project planning, property design and property re-sales activities of PPR.
Having worked full time in property since 2002, he is an expert property investor with extensive experience in buying, financing, letting, managing and selling UK commercial and residential property. Jon has successfully negotiated several hundred UK property transactions in recent years, including board level deals with FTSE house builders.
Early career was selling high value IBM hardware into small to medium size enterprises giving Jon a broad background in business and entrepreneurship. Jon is married to Tal, lives in Mill Hill, London with their sons Daniel and Jacob and daughter Ella. He is a keen Tottenham Hotspur fan.
Nick Hopkinson, Director
Nick leads PPR’s joint venture investor partner relations and private fundraising activities. He is also the media spokesman for PPR and is regularly asked for expert opinions by the National press and appears on TV news bulletins discussing UK property and financial market trends. Nick works closely with Jon, using his commercial negotiating experience to help strategically plan PPR’s activities, particularly focusing on underwriting the financial, project management and legal aspects of the firms work.
Nick has a strong track record in property investment with extensive experience and expertise in buying, financing, letting, managing and selling UK property. He has been a UK residential landlord since 1991.
Nick's commercial career started at Pepsi in 1987 and then progressed through various commercial roles at New Zealand Dairy Board through to becoming a Business Development Director at statistics and analytics firm SAS Software. He has a broad experience of “start up” as well as how “blue chip” companies work through which he has honed his business development skills.
Nick is married to Soyar, has two sons and lives in Kensington, London. Nick is a keen skier, keen (but poor) golfer and supports Nottingham Forest.
Danny Neiberg, Director
Danny leads the Asset Management and development/ renovation activity for PPR. He is an expert property negotiator, constantly identifying unique ways to add value to projects and our portfolio.
Danny has practical experience of all aspects of residential property development including: buying, financing, letting, management and sales. He has been overseeing the development of residential sites from scratch to either retain within our portfolio or re-sell since 2002. He has led the acquisition and asset optimization of more than 160 urban houses within the current portfolio over recent years.
Danny is a pro-active entrepreneur and has launched several other businesses. Danny's early career was running various family businesses focused on asset finance and debt recovery while developing his entrepreneurial skills, after completing a law degree at London Guildhall University.
Danny is married to Simone and lives in North London with their two kids. Danny is keen on sport, previously competing in bodybuilding and power-lifting competitions.
Adam Bitel, Acquisitions Manager
Adam leads the acquisitions team for PPR Estates and has a wealth of specialist property negotiating experience behind him; Working daily with sellers, banks, specialist agents and financial advisors to acquire both property portfolios and individual homes to meet our growth objectives. Over his career, Adam has developed a reputation for discreet, reliable delivery of deals, regularly negotiating successful property purchases from £100k up to £100m+. Adam began his property career as a sales negotiator with Foxtons in 2004 before moving on to a similar role at independent estate agency, In London Properties. He then worked in acquisitions for Rock Investment Holdings and most recently worked for start-up company, Seaforth Estates, where he was responsible for sourcing commercial business premises.
Adam Lives in Hampstead, North London and is a keen on sports. He is a qualified tennis coach, life guard and an avid Arsenal supporter.
Neeru Sood, Operations Manager
Neeru heads up the team who manage the PPR estate and tenants. Neeru has years of pro-active experience in all aspects of property sales, management and letting. Her team deal with all the maintenance and tenant support challenges that go along with an ever growing property estate. Previously, Neeru has worked as a Lettings manager, customer service specialist and in various sales roles for national housebuilders and Estate Agents as well as in the mortgage finance industry. This background gives her a unique insight into how best to support our tenants and get the best out of our assets. Neeru lives in West London and enjoys yoga, cooking and an active social life when not at work.
Paul Clayton MRICS MCIOB, Consultant Surveyor
Paul is a highly qualified and commercially experienced property surveyor who acts as a specialist advisor to the PPR Estates team on all aspects of valuing the existing portfolio and strategic asset acquisition valuation. He has many years of practical experience in commercial and residential property during which time he has won awards for his work with NHBC builders on conservation.
Paul is a Corporate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Corporate Member of the Chartered Institute of Building. He specializes in residential and commercial property valuations, investment advice, building surveying and development viability appraisals. He has worked in various senior surveyor roles for large corporates such as CB Richard Ellis, DTZ Debenham Thorpe and Bovis Construction Ltd, as well as specialist consultancies during his career. Paul lives in Surrey and his hobbies include historic powerboat racing.
